Meta Pixel (formerly known as Facebook Pixel) is a free analytical tool attached to a Shopify store that allows Facebook to track its users' interactions such as checkout, add to cart, purchase, etc.
As a Shopify store owner, it is important that you take advantage of this feature and learn how to set up a Facebook Pixel for your Shopify store.

Step 1: Create a Facebook account
Make sure that you have a Facebook account which will then allow you to make a business page.
Use that business page to make a Facebook business account.
Use the business suite to then create a Facebook ad account.
Step 2: Setup Facebook Pixel
Head on over to your Shopify store and click on Preferences under the Sales channels tab.
Scroll down and find Facebook Pixel.
Click on Set up Facebook > Start setup to proceed.
You will then be asked to connect your Facebook and Business accounts here.
